Around week four:
Roughly week five:
It feels like I’m a carefully stacked house of cards, and just when I think I might be on the upward swing to getting better, the cards all tumble down. The good news is that I’m mostly coherent, and I’m not having as much trouble following a conversation or train of thought anymore. The not so great news is that I still feel Eh.
Around week four:
July 14: Continue sinus issues, loads of sneezing, little appetite. Pre-plaque [psoriasis] patch on back of left hand started.
July 15: Continue sinus congestion/draining, more sneezing, little appetite.
July 16: Continue sinus congestion/draining, sneezing, runny nose, low grade fever, little appetite.
July 17: Continue sinus congestion/draining, warm but not feverish, little appetite.
July 18: Continue sinus congestion/draining, low grade fever.
July 19: Continue sinus congestion, warm, knee joints are “unhappy” (stiff, achy feeling). Sinus pressure (forehead) may have built throughout the day due to weather reasons.
July 20: In the early AM hours it’s possible that something weather related shifted, and I had a lot of sinus drainage, sneezing, and a runny nose due to that. I also had a headache and a fever, so the notes for the rest of the day just say, “Wtf knees?”
They were still stiff and achy, but it was more noticeable today that something was going on with my left leg below the knee. Sometime last week there had been a zapping sensation in my left calf, but it didn’t actually feel like a charley horse (no muscle spasming or pain). That general vicinity now felt like it was tingling, from the knee down seemed more prone to falling asleep, and I didn’t quite feel confident putting my full weight on that leg/foot while walking at times.
(I’m honestly not sure if this is directly related to Covid-19 or not, but I’m equally not sure I trust someone armchair diagnosing psoriatic arthritis just because I already have psoriasis. Like, that might cover the joint bit, but I haven’t heard of the rest of the leg issues being associated with PsA.)
July 21: Continue sinus congestion/pressure, warm but not fully feverish, little to no appetite, unhappy knees, and ‘weird’ left lower leg. I made a note that the pre-plaque patch on my left hand was still there.

Roughly week five:
July 22: Continue sinus congestion, low grade fever, little to no appetite, unhappy knees, ‘weird’ left lower leg, achy neck.
July 23: Continue sinus congestion/draining, feel like I have a fever but warm (not actually feverish), little to no appetite, unhappy knees, and continue left leg weirdness.
July 24: Fever and sinus congestion in the morning, sneezing and sinus draining in the afternoon, achy neck, little to no appetite, knees no longer stiff, but there’s still some weirdness with the left lower leg (last day with this noted).
July 25: Continue sinus congestion, sneezing and sinus draining, warm (feel feverish but not really), achy neck, little to no appetite. Right ear might be having some issues draining.
July 26: Continue sinus congestion, feverish, tired, little to no appetite, took daytime OTC meds (any other symptoms not noticeable).
July 27: Continue sinus congestion, feverish, no appetite/*. Another pre-plaque patch looked like it was starting to form on the right arm (disappeared within a day or two). The patch on the back of my left hand is also nearly gone.
July 28: Slight sinus congestion, warm but not feverish, more appetite today.
(*) From the start, I was hoping to make zero mention of the gastrointestinal side effects of Covid-19, but I may need to poke around a Covid-19 support group to see if there are any tips for helping my GI system be less unhappy about this.
