Day #9: In your own space, In your own space, celebrate a personal win from the past year: it can be a list of fanworks you're especially proud of, time you spent in the community, a quality or skill you cultivated in yourself, something you generally feel went well.
After not really posting much on AO3 for a bit, I suddenly did things in 2022.
A kinda weird not-actually-dead fic: Only Mostly Dead - Complete. Ten chapters; 8,444 words. [Gen, but you can sort of squint and see a potential Drarry moment in one chapter.]
I wrote two gifted fics for New Year's Resolution 2022.
I finished more than one work for Crack the WIP 2022.
I posted some "I hope this counts as meta" works on AO3 for March Meta Matters Challenge.
I watched the last season of Killing Eve, and let's just say that I'm tired of Redemption Through Death.
A fic with an unrequited ship and, uncharacteristic for me, a Time Travel premise: Better Mistakes - Complete. 4,571 words. Sorta the beginning of my descent into writing a particular rarepair [Sirius/Severus - see comment].
For HP Flowers 2022 Spring Round: Moonwort, For Opening Locks - Complete. 8,663 words. (Gen, but like, in a Non-Romantic Marriage and Married For Tax Benefits way.)
A fic for Dreamwith's Rarepair Hell Weekend and another fic with this Gen ship. Like, I get that it's probably tag-wrangled with the human character, but I am horribly compelled by 'this human is nice to the dog form of a person they hate'.
A self imposed challenge in October: Snack-O-Ween 2022. It cross-filled with other October events, so I have Tricks, Treats, and Trick Or Treats in my Round Up. (I wrote a drabble for the first time. I tried to incorporate Final Destination into a fic premise. I had some fun with weird premises like 'the Death Eaters are literally a Lovecraftian Cult'. Overall, not half bad.)
For HP Flowers 2022 Autumn Round: a thousand nights that end like this - Complete. Twelve chapters; 8,840 words. Every chapter has a different character's point of view and how they see (or do not see) the main tagged ship, so some chapters are more non-shippy compared to others.
I did a few cross-fills for HP Yuletide Bliss, 25 Days of Kinkmas, and Snolidays, but I wound up not getting anything done for the Panfandom Hanukkah Bingo. (Maybe I'll side-eye slash fix the Ghosts [US show] Xmas special next year....)
Works in Progress: For whatever reason, I was briefly possessed by a Rubeus Hagrid/Sybill Trelawney entry for 25 Days of Kinkmas, but I'm unsure if/when that will be finished. I put together an on the back burner tag, since I thought it might help in choosing something for a potential 2023 round of Crack the WIP. There are several options that were started in 2022, but one I didn't mention was my 'writing about knitting instead of knitting' fic: The Jumper Jinx - Currently eight chapters and 13,975 words. [It's focused on Percy after he graduates from Hogwarts, so there are several relationships, but the endgame is Percy/Oliver.]
