Fandom Snowflake Challenge

Challenge #7: List three (or more) things you like about yourself. They don't have to be your favorite things, just things that you think are good. Feel free to expand as much or as little as you want.

This has absolutely been a hard challenge to try to write a response for. For every possible thing I can think of, I can think of an exception or how I fall short of that thing. So, two out of three will have to do.

1. In certain areas of my life, I have an okay tolerance for the uncertainty and challenge of trying new things.

I know I padded this one out a bit here, but I do feel like I need to have some clarification. I am not entirely comfortable with all kinds of change and trying all the things all the time. However, I've tried out F-Droid on my cellphone, I've tried switching to LibreOffice, I tried out the DuckDuckGo browser for a bit, and I'm currently using up a lot of change tolerance trying out a Linux distro instead of upgrading to Windows 11.

2. If it's within my ability to do so, I try to help people.

I used to enjoy donating blood when I was younger, in part, because it was a visceral way to help people. I tracked down some state resource info for someone on Pillowfort one winter because I had the time to poke around the website. I try to pass along the info for Radio Free Monday or do anonymous submissions. I'm definitely one of those people who have to stop and think about whether someone wants to commiserate or wants help solving a problem.
