As prison industrial complex abolitionists, we will be paying special tribute to imprisoned people who have died of COVID-19 by creating a vigil mixtape that will be played outside of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown Chicago during the week of mourning. The mixtape will also be available for you to listen to, so that we can share that collective experience. The speeches in this mixtape will be made into a zine that will be distributed to imprisoned people.
