Killing Eve

After being emotionally compromised by certain events in season 4 episode 7 of Killing Eve and finishing episode 8, I can say that this final season has sure been something. I still stand by my mid-season thoughts, and I have finally finished out commenting on that season 4 post with post-season thoughts [see archival note].

Overall, the short version of my thoughts on this final season:
It feels like the audience - or at least, I - haven't got answers to these questions after the final season and the series finale. It's unsatisfying on a certain level, and for me, it feels like a lot of people have died for a small amount of narrative progress this season. [Redacted questions.] I'm not sure, and I kind of wish season 4 had gone differently. (Or just rewind back to the season 3 finale, and I'll pretend that's the end.)

Archival note: I split the mid-season and post-season thoughts into their own separate posts here on Dreamwidth, but the original Pillowfort had everything confined to one post (alongside the comments about each episode).
